This is a vital skill for evading obstacles while maintaining your road position.
Look Ahead: Spot hazards and gauge their distance to prep for action, all while holding your line.
Front Wheel: Control your direction with your front wheel. Swerve around the obstacle and straighten out.
Body and Rear Wheel: Stay straight as your bike moves around. To clear the obstacle, shift weight forward.
Practice this maneuver to ensure safety. Share with fellow riders and ride with confidence. Let’s conquer challenges together!
We can do better! The recent article in The Hill

Let’s work together to improve street design, implement Vision Zero and Complete Streets, and promote responsible road behavior.
